Ⅰ. Working Principle

The four-roll calender is mainly composed of rotating upper and lower work rolls and fixed intermediate rolls. The position of the intermediate rolls is fixed, while the upper and lower rolls are driven to rotate by motors. When materials pass through and are pressed by the upper and lower rolls, the entire processing process is divided into three stages: rough rolling, intermediate rolling and finish rolling. In the rough rolling stage, the material is preliminarily formed; the intermediate rolling stage mainly adjusts the width and thickness of the material; the finish rolling stage ensures the surface finish and processing accuracy of finished products.
